Robert Skerker, MD

Dr. Skerker is a Board-Certified physician in Wound Care and Physical Medicine. He combines those two areas of expertise to leverage optimal wound care for patients with complex functional deficits and complex wounds. As the Medical Director of the Morristown Wound Healing Center, he works closely with colleagues of multiple surgical specialists to heal wounds and improve functional mobility. He has worked closely with colleagues from various surgical specialties such as Orthopedics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Trauma Surgery to help deliver superior wound care in complicated patient populations over the past 30 years. He recognizes the intricacies of the human condition and how they may impact on hard to heal wounds. He is also keenly aware of the limb salvage population and makes it an important part of his practice to treat amputees – running the only Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinic within the Atlantic Health System. He has been the Medical Director of the Morristown Wound Healing Center for the past 12 years.
