APWCA supports retrospective review for other disciplines to obtain educational credit

Accreditation Statement:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Temple University School of Medicine and the American Professional Wound Care Association.  Temple University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to sponsor Continuing Medical Education for physicians.
 

Certification Statement:

Temple University School of Medicine will designate this educational activity for 30 AMA Physician’s Recognition Award Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Podiatric CME and Nursing CE information:

30 Contact hours planned for Podiatric Medicine & nurses.  Hours are listed by each course.

Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) as a sponsor of continuing education in podiatric medicine.  CME is applied for in all states with continuing medical education requirements  for Podiatrists. Application for contact hours for nurses has been made to: Pennsylvania State Nurses Association which is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing and is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Other fields such as Dietitians would attain same through their individual credentialing agency by using a subsequent approval process and submitting for same individually. The process should be investigated by the registrant. APWCA will provide supporting information that may be requested but assumes no responsibility in attaining such credits.
